Eastman, Georgia-If you follow 13WMAZ meteorologist Courteney Jacobazzi on Facebook, you will know that she will broadcast live every morning after the "Coffee With Court" show ends.

But what if she did it in a coffee shop? Well, this is exactly what she is doing! She is going to some of the best brewers in central Georgia and the region for a cup of coffee.

An Eastman coffee shop provides customers with specialty drinks, pastries and some frozen yogurt...frozen beans from Dodge County.

Co-owner Nicole Barnett said that as one of the few coffee shops in the area, business has been booming since it opened six years ago.

It all started when Barnett missed her daily coffee and frozen yogurt when she and her family lived in North Georgia.

"I keep saying,'If people can go to a coffee shop, wouldn't it be great?'" she said.

At first she had some opponents.

"Except for my mother, no one thinks this will work," Barnett said.

She and her husband Justin opened the business after six months of remodeling the old domino shop site, and since then "it has been effective and consistent."

"It will definitely grow and become something, you know, I prove people wrong," she said.

Over the years, they have worked hard to maintain a clean and friendly environment.

"We were small at first," Barnett said. "My atmosphere here is that I want it to be welcomed, and I want it to be family-oriented."

She created a space for children to play board games, as well as a living plant wall and magazines on the coffee table. Her goal is to keep people away from mobile phones and enjoy family time together.

"I want it to be very lively, very bright, very interesting and very welcoming to everyone. A cold place," she said.

Even if you are not a coffee genius, Barnett will say "Please come!"

"Come in, we will guide you, we will help you, and we will figure out what your favorite drink is," she said.

The Frozen Bean is located at 538 Oak Street Suite B. They are open from 7 am to 6 pm on weekdays, from 8 am to 6 pm on Saturdays, and from 1 to 6 pm on Sundays
